Is Audi as nice as BMW?
Audi versus BMW: which has a better reputation? – When it comes to performance, BMW’s reputation is superior to Audi’s. Yes, Audi’s perform well, but BMW practically invented the sport sedan about 50 years ago. And its M3 and M5 models are global performance legends.
Even BMW’s long running tag line, “The Ultimate Driving Machine”, has cultivated the brand’s fun-to-drive reputation for decades. Remarkably, BMW has been able to simultaneously cultivate its Green reputation. Over the last decade it has offered many more electrified models than Audi, including plug-in hybrid versions of some of its sedans and SUVs.
Today, in 2019, it offers two plug-in hybrids, the i3 and i8, as well as an all-electric version of the i3. BMW is also more inclined to experiment with exotic materials than Audi. The BMW i3 and its exotic plug-in hybrid sports car, the i8, have carbon fiber structure, which is very light, but also very expensive.
- This technology is common in race cars.
- The structure of most production cars is either steel or aluminum or a combination of each.
- That said, Audi has offered more EV models than BMW, and its new all-electric e-Tron SUV will certainly put a charge in its reputation for building environmentally conscious vehicles.
Where Audi’s reputation shines is style and design. Audi’s are beautiful. Most are so visually striking they turn grown men Pavlovian. They look youthful and dynamic, and they have for a very long time. There are also many beautiful BMWs, but most are just attractive and some over the years have been just plain grisly.

You’ll have the freedom to choose either a new or used Audi, apply for a car loan to purchase it, and pay the loan off over time. You’ll likely have higher monthly payments than leasing, but your car will be yours to do with as you wish! Freedom to Sell Your Audi : As we said before, once you purchase an Audi, you’re free to do with it as you wish. So, when you’ve gotten all you want out of ownership, you’re free to sell it privately, or trade it in with us. Located in San Antonio, TX / 1,136 miles away from Rutland, ND Glacier White Metallic 2023 Audi Q5 e 55 Premium S Line quattro 7-Speed Automatic S tronic 2.0L Turbocharged Recent Arrival! Dealer Review: My husband and I had gone in to test drive a Q8 a couple weeks ago, and ultimately decided I wanted to look for an SQ7 for the third row and more HP.
Sales rep David that day was amazing ! Wasn’t rushing me, we test drove multiple vehicles, and he stated they didn’t have an SQ7 at the time, but would call me when they did. Fast forward a week, he calls to say they have one and to come drive it. I had to fly out for a funeral, so I said I would come the next week.
Then comes today. I went in to drive said vehicle I’ve been waiting 2 weeks to do drive, but David was not there. The joke of a sales manager Jazz was VERY pushy, wanting me to drive the car to my husband at work so we could buy it right then and there.
- I said no, I will come back with my husband when he’s not at work IF I like the vehicle.
- He then proceeded to tell me “we don’t just let people test drive $100k cars if they’re not going to buy them”, and I was in utter shock.
- I’m not sure how I’m supposed to buy a car that I can’t test drive.
- Needless to say, I will never be doing business here.
And from the looks of the other reviews, I’m not the only person who has had a bad experience with this man. Features and Specs: 26 Combined MPG (25 City/27 Highway) Listing Information: VIN: WA1E2BFY9P2046413 Stock: P2046413 Listed since: 11-14-2022

Can you negotiate Audi prices?
Amid an industry push towards fixed prices, and stock shortages pushing the price of new cars through the roof, Audi says it’s dealers are willing to negotiate with customers. A spokesperson for the brand said dealers are “open to negotiations that are tailored to each customer’s individual needs” as part of its Open Haus sale – although the spokesperson didn’t confirm exactly what sort of discounts will be on offer. Once a core part of the new car buying process, negotiating a sharper deal has become increasingly difficult in recent years. Audi’s luxury rival Mercedes-Benz, along with brands such as Honda, have moved to an agency model with fixed pricing. That means no haggling, and no cross-shopping between dealers to try and track down a sharper deal. Between the promise of back-and-forth between dealers and customers, and what should be strong supply in the second half of 2022, Audi is expecting its sales to jump on the back of a tough start to the year. A spokesperson for the brand said it’s “seeing some easing of restrictions and supply limitations, which you would have seen in our deliveries in the last three months – a substantial lift since earlier this year”. Its sales tally for the last three months (June, July, August) are its highest of the year, and go some way to making up for months like May, where the brand’s 941 sales represented a 45.4 per cent dive relative to the year prior. The brand’s best-seller to date in 2022 is the Q3 SUV with 2821 sales, ahead of the larger Q5 SUV (2228 sales).

Do Audi’s hold their value?
What goes into determining my Audi’s resale value? – Your sporty Audi does more than just get you from work and back—it’s also taken you on thrilling drives through the countryside and more. While these memories don’t have a price tag, you can still figure out your Audi’s resale value with a few tools at your disposal, Let’s get into what the various influences are on your Audi’s resale value:
Depreciation : You can’t control the immediate loss in value once you leave the new car lot. Audis hold their value better than other luxury cars, but some models lose up to 65% of their value in the first three years of ownership. Mileage : Your car’s condition is mostly determined by mileage. Try keeping your mileage at 12,000 annual miles or fewer to prevent your car from aging too quickly. Accident history : You can’t always avoid them, but accidents take a big piece out of your resale value. Model popularity : An SUV like the Audi Q3 is a classic choice, but when it comes to luxury cars, sporty coupes like the Audi TT generally hold their value better than their clunkier sedan siblings, even though the Audi A4 holds its value well, too. Interior and exterior conditions : Stay on top of your Audi’s maintenance and cleaning schedule to get the most out of its resale value. You’ll lose money for any dents, dings, blemishes, and neglected repairs.
